Medina County Beekeepers Association was founded in 1951. Based in Medina, Ohio, the club has over 200 members, both professional and backyard beekeepers from all over Northeast Ohio. MCBA provides a meeting place for experienced beekeepers to share their experience and for “newbees” to learn best methods to help them be successful beekeepers.
MCBA meets monthly to trade bee talk and to host guest speakers from around the country. Meetings are held the third Monday of most months.
Interested in becoming a beekeeper? Watch for our annual Beginner Classes held in February and March each year. The goal is to teach a solid foundation to give you the tools you will need as a beekeeper.
Medina County Beekeepers’ mission is to promote beekeeping, broaden the knowledge and understanding of honey bees (and all pollinators) and the challenges they face in today’s world, and educate by teaching best practices and techniques in apiary management.
